How it all started...

Baring Cross Baptist Church began in 1903 as a small fellowship of twenty-nine believers living in the railroad community of Baring Cross. What started as a neighborhood congregation soon grew into a thriving witness for Christ, surviving seasons of challenge—including a devastating fire in the 1970s—and celebrating decades of God’s faithfulness.

Expanding the vision...

As the church expanded, the congregation relocated to its current Sherwood campus, continuing its long legacy of worship, discipleship, and community outreach.

Where we are headed...

Today, Baring Cross Baptist Church remains committed to proclaiming the gospel, building strong families, and serving Central Arkansas with the same vision and faith that shaped its beginning more than a century ago.
